I am Kevin Lauryssen aka Foeshel, an Antwerp-based illustrator with a passion for bringing stories and ideas to life. Hand-drawn with a flair for detail, my work combines the imaginative with the functional to deliver compelling visual narratives.

Specializing in black ink, watercolor, gouache and acrylic paints, my creations encompass a diverse range of styles from children's illustrations to editorial illustrations for articles. As a proud parent and cat enthusiast, my daughter Lotte and our feline companion, Puck, often serve as the charming protagonists in my heart-warming short stories titled "The Adventures of Lotte and Puck."

In addition to my illustrations, I maintain an active blog where I showcase my latest art paired with insightful content. Each spring and summer, I bring these original pieces to life at art fairs where they find new homes among art lovers. At these events, you can also find my unique, eco-friendly piggy banks crafted from recycled spray cans, each adorned with an original illustration.

My artistic journey has led me to explore the realm of comics and cartoons as well. Game Night and Little Wild One are two of my gag comic series that celebrate the humor in gaming and everyday life. Game Night Adventure, a long form comic, a coming of age story set in a fantasy world which is falling apart.

Monsters have always been special to me frequently making an appearance in my work. From cuddly creatures perfect for children's stories to darker, more enigmatic beings, my monsters cater to a variety of tastes and preferences.
